For what it’s worth, I was involved in a “Resource Action” which is a nicer way to say “staff reduction” or “layoff.” I was as surprised as most of my coworkers and acquaintances were when I told them.

while my house is not susceptible to flooding (on a large hill) here’s a few indicators of this past weekends’ rainfall. this drainage usually only flows during spring snow melt. and this wheelbarrow was empty on friday.
