new year, decided to procure a replacement computer for work (to replace my 2019 intel macbook pro) and they sent me a 2021 m1 mbp. not bad, glad to be on apple silicon, and haven’t heard a cooling fan yet.

no time to set it up though as several “challenged” projects are vying for my help. sigh.
