@jerzone yeah most of my house is PEX but downstairs there's a lot of copper in annoying places. electrons are gonna flow where they want i guess. i asked the plumber who fixed my DHW mixing valve on my boiler about bi-metal corrosion, he said basically no matter what metals you use, they all wear out eventually.
