everybody needs one of these. or two.

A photo of a ‘nut gatherer’ which is a round wire cage at the end of a handle, when you roll it on the ground, nuts like acorns squeeze in between the wires of the cage and get trapped inside. to empty it, you hold it over a container (garbage can) and spread two of the wires apart with your fingers, and shake it so the nuts fall out. these things are brilliant, and work very well.
