previous photo: this lamp. the original shade wasn’t made from UV resistant plastic i guess; it brittled and cracked. i jokingly made a replacement shade out of a cottage cheese container.

For what it’s worth, I was involved in a “Resource Action” which is a nicer way to say “staff reduction” or “layoff.” I was as surprised as most of my coworkers and acquaintances were when I told them.

today the neighbor’s Harley woke my dog up, who woke me up, and then i worked outside the first half of the day. took a shower and a nap, relaxed the second half. A+ would do it again.
