1st day of school! i discovered that Chrome is usurping my DNS-server-based website blocker to keep the kids from playing browser games instead of doing schoolwork. tonight i put their ethernet into the managed switch & tomorrow they go on a VLAN & get filtered. sigh.
i can’t think of anything useful to do, and i can’t justify doing anything i consider “fun” so... i should just go to bed, because, nobody can argue with sleep, i guess.

i've now been exclusively using a standing (only) desk at home for 4 months. one thing i really miss from my sit/stand setup in the office is: leaning back in my chair. for various reasons, leaning back in my chair was quite useful.
today i used my new battery powered lawn mower for the first time and it was a series of incredible epiphanies anyway i hope you are well and your weekend is peaceful and restorative
