Another year and holiday that I couldn't travel and see my family again. Disappointed that so many people take it as an affront to their freedom (pride) to protect others through modest sacrifices.

I value my freedom highly. but i do not value my freedom more than your freedom.

it’s been interesting to talk to companies who interview me as a leader and who talk about growth and finding people who will foster talent & support the team & build a culture …

and then get a rejection email from a no-reply@ email address telling me i’m not technical enough.

it might be sacrilegious to use these lovely Mustang wheels i had in my shed for snow tires, but the Flex needs more traction and sidewall for the winter than the stock 20’s provide

today’s quick but useful project - cutting a base to attach to my new chop saw and a block to hold longer material level. allows me to store the saw standing up (eventually i’ll put eyelets on the edge and literally hang it on the wall)

that thing where you reply to a tweet with a dumb joke and then you think “oh no what if someone else already made that joke” so you check all their replies and you SEE YOUR JOKE and you panic for a sec and then you realize that was your own reply
