finally got tired of wi-fi/cellular interference with my little mixer. (choosing one with a metal case would have prevented this)

but i had some copper shielding tape and this morning i put some inside the case. it seems to work well - i can literally hold my phone directly over the mixer and there is no noise.

i discovered a difficult to diagnose problem with my truck today and an easy to diagnose but difficult to resolve problem with my car today.

i almost look forward to being angry at javascript tomorrow.

Spotify recommended Angles & Airwaves (band) to me yesterday, and today a playlist based on them included Death Cab for Cutie. i’ll very happily pay my bill this month.

@danielleganza i would encourage folks to give feedback to their colleagues who use these terms also. my CEO used to say “maniacal focus” frequently, and i heard it repeated by my department head. so i asked them not to, explaining that “mania” is a medical condition. they thanked me for the feedback. i never heard them say “maniacal” again.

random: if you or someone you know has SSD (Single-Sided Deafness) and have trouble finding good monopods (single headphone) try this: search ebay for “airpods missing” and you will find plenty of people who lost one of their airpods and are selling the case plus the other one.

@jerzone what do you use for modeling? i have long-ago cad experience (architecture school, early 90s lol) and when i looked up all that stuff it’s wicked expensive
